Autograph letter : [Cincinnati], to [Lafcadio Hearn], [1875-1877].

Discussing her great passion for him, lamenting the strictures of society that prevent them from standing together before the world. Noting that she has never been denied anything before, and lamenting that he does not want her. Begging "oh give me a bone to gnaw that I may not eat the flesh off of my hands." Stating that she will follow him wherever he goes, noting "I will be where I can look at you, as you pass by me, that can never be denied me."
